Do you accept returns or exchanges?
All sales are final.
We’re not (and don’t long to be) a mega-corporation, or even a funded startup. We’re a grassroots brand doing this the long way, the handmade way. Because of that, we’re unable to offer returns or exchanges. We know buying perfume online is a gamble, so if it’s your first time here and you’re unsure, we recommend starting with the Discovery Duo.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the continental U.S. only. This means no shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, or internationally just yet. But hang tight: we’re working on expanding soon!
What is Route Shipping Protection?
Route is an optional add-on at checkout that protects your order against loss, theft, or damage. If something goes wrong and you have Route, they’ve got your back—and so do we. We very much recommend this to ensure that if there are any issues, you will be taken care of!
My package says it was delivered, but I never got it—help?
If you opted into Route Shipping Protection (which we highly recommend), your package is insured against loss, theft, and delivery mishaps. To file a claim with Route, click here.
If you didn’t opt in and the tracking says “delivered,” unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds or replacements.

I entered the wrong shipping address—can I fix it?
Please double (or triple) check your address before placing an order. If you entered in the incorrect address - email us and we’ll do our very best to update your address! If your package is shipped to the incorrectly entered address, we can’t offer refunds or reships. We’re a teeny-tiny business and don’t have the resources to absorb those costs.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please send a clear photo of the damage to hello@lookingforeachother.com. A photo is required to move forward—but once we have that, we’ll take care of you!
Fragrances
Are LFEO’s fragrances genderless?
While we generally try to strike what would be a culturally acceptable balance between the gender spectrum, we don’t really believe in assigning notes to genders. We make fragrance for humans with noses.
In the past few decades, brands have leaned hard into machismo, convincing men they need to smell like steel, smoke, cigarette ash, and repression. Whereas we don’t think it’s actually a problem if you smell a little bit like a flower.
Try the Discovery Duo if you’re on the fence, or if you’re lucky to have a stockist nearby–go sample the scents there!
Can I layer your fragrances?
You can, but we design our scents to stand alone. They each have a full story to tell.
There’s stuff floating around in my fragrance–is that normal?
Yes! It’s just a sign you’re wearing something real. Our botanical ingredients sometimes bring along natural waxes and plant particles. We filter lightly, but a few imperfections might still make it through
Are you a clean brand?
We are 100% botanical—no synthetics, no mystery blends. Just plant essential oils, absolutes, tinctures and extracts in a base of organic grape alcohol.
Are your fragrances vegan?
Yes!
Perfume gives me a headache. Will this give me a headache?
While everyone’s body is different, we’ve found—both anecdotally and personally—that botanical-based perfumes are waaaayyy less likely to trigger headaches than synthetic ones. Our scents are made entirely from plant-derived ingredients (no lab-made aroma chemicals).
Subscriptions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Log in to your account here, select your subscription product, and scroll to the bottom of the page—there, you’ll see the cancel option.
If anything is confusing, feel free to email us and we’ll handle it with care.
My subscription renewed and I didn’t want it—can I get a refund?
We send a heads-up email 3 days before your next subscription charge. If you didn’t cancel in time, please reach out immediately and we’ll do our best to intercept the shipment. Once your order is fulfilled, though, we’re unable to process refunds or cancellations.
